Africa Construction Law ACL Conference 2022

The ACL conference will examine trends and developments in construction law and the infrastructural challenges faced across English-speaking, Francophone and Lusophone African jurisdictions covering the full financing, contracting and dispute resolution spectrum. The schedule includes sessions on infrastructure investment and sustainability, adjudication, an analysis of several African arbitration seats, the use of expert witnesses, and a session exploring the future of turnkey contracting in Africa. The agenda also features an Oxford style debate session, looking at specialised construction courts and whether they are better suited to resolve African construction disputes, compared to arbitration.
